Krshala offers a diverse range of workshops focusing primarily on Classical Indian dance, especially Kathak, while also embracing complementary art forms. These sessions are conducted by eminent dancers, scholars, and practitioners from disciplines such as Contemporary Dance, Kalaripayattu, Theatre, Yoga, and other performing and visual arts.

Krshala actively encourages collaborations with performing art centres and artists across genres, including visual arts, film, and interdisciplinary performance. Over the years, Krshala students have had the privilege of learning through workshops by some of the most celebrated artists in the world of dance.

Notable past workshops include:

  • Padma Vibhushan Pt. Birju Maharaj, legendary Kathak maestro — workshop conducted by Samam.

  • Fabienne Courmont, leading French choreographer and founder of the Isadora Duncan style of creative movement — session on expressive movement and core strengthening.

  • Irma Cardano, renowned choreographer from the Royal School of Ballet, Italy — introduction to Ballet and Contemporary Dance.
